Now that you know all the nitty, gritty details, here's a bit about my opinion of Sailormoon. Myself, like many of the other American fans was first introduced to Sailormoon with the dub by DiC. I remember it distinctly. It was the end of June and I was flipping channels while I was picking out my outfit for work. I stopped on the USA Network when I saw a cute bunch of girls running around in sailor suits. I thought "hey cool! Another girl cartoon!" Being a product of a woman's college education I always like to see women and girls in the forefront. I immediately sat down to watch this show, and thus began my obsession. Now after many months scanning the Internet for info, and gathering pictures for my own enjoyment you are viewing my creation.

Now let me tell you, it hasn't all been easy. I am still educating myself about this awesome story, and every day I find myself wondering more. I went from being a fan of the dub, to a fan of the Japanese version, and more so of the manga. I have seen all DiC's version, and some of the eps on Cartoon Network. I have seen the three movies, and all but the SuperS season subtitled. I used to think of Sailormoon as Serena when I thought of the animated version, but somehow when I read the manga I can't. It seems sacrilegious to me. I mean Naoko created the manga and to me Sailormoon is and will always be Usagi. Although I appreciate the anime, and even DiC for introducing me to it, I think my love is the manga because of the beautiful artwork and the wonderful story.

Why Princess Michiru? I know some people probably wonder where in the heck I got the name from when my page doesn't really mention Michiru at all except for in her profile. Well I thought of it when I put my name into my silly Japanese name translator and the name for Michele was Michire. I figured, I'd just use Michiru so it was similar, yet still related to Sailormoon. Well there were so many Michiru's on the net, I just plopped the "Princess" In front of it, and so far I think I was the first with this name among the Sailornet community. I hope it stays that way!

Ok, I'm done rambling. I just realized that this is the first time that I have discussed my opinions and myself on one of my Sailormoon pages. Go on and visit the rest of the page and please email me and let me know what you think!
